Black and White Dog Photography at Chrissy Field

An overcast winter morning in San Francisco and a hint of ocean breeze makes for incredibly perfect black and white dog photography conditions. These portraits of Bella the Chocolate Lab show such joy and happiness- I was inspired and smiling throughout our entire session. The Contax 645 with Ilford film allowed those subtle tones to come through in Bella's coat, the bright cloudy sky, and the bright fabrics Bella's mom was wearing.
