This is Teddy. He was rescued from the streets of Los Angeles by one of my favorite LA rescue groups, Walks and Walks. A very nice family in San Francisco saw his beautiful face on Petfinder, flew down to LA, scooped him up, carried him onto the plane, and transplanted him into a warm and loving family in Northern California. What a real Cinderalla Story, Teddy. You really lucked out. I was the lucky San Francisco dog photographer that got to tell his beautiful story. We had a lovely (yet fairly overheated) fine art dog photography session at Teddy's home where we hung out with his four teenage human siblings, lounged in the grass a bit, and did a lot of sitting on laps (the dog sat in the laps, I sat on the ground).
I love being invited into homes to witness the beautiful bond between kids and their dogs. Teddy was very closely bonded with the two younger siblings of the family, and being the youngest in my family- I really understood the magic of their friendship. These guys were a lot of fun to hang out with.
As a special request, I created an updated corporate headshot for this *very* serious business person. I hope he uses it to create a little buzz and emotion within the typically boring and stiff corporate world. Though there is a hint of silliness to this portrait, I think it is so beautiful and warm. This bond is about joy and happiness and understanding, and what businessman wouldn't want that in their portfolio?
Thanks for a great San Francisco dog photography session, Teddy. Your prints are going to look wonderful.
