Castro Street Fair 2013 and Re:Make Fair San Francisco

This past weekend was the San Francisco Castro Street Fair 2013. As always, my assistant and I had a great time talking to the hundreds of dog-loving visitors that stopped by our pet photography booth. We met people from San Francisco, New Mexico, Los Angeles, Chicago, Australia, and basically all over who came in and chatted with us about their beloved dogs. One of the best parts about doing local San Francisco dog events like this is that I get to visit with old clients who take a moment to stop in a say hello. The Castro Street Fair is such a fun and relaxing way to simply talk with people about my dog photography, both in San Francisco and Los Angeles. I always end up losing my voice by the end of the day, but it's always worth it. Hope to see everyone out at the Castro Street Fair 2014.

We also particpated in the first annual Re:Make Fair from Brit and Co at San Francisco's beautiful Fort Mason Festival Pavillion this weekend where we took instant polaroid portraits at my Instant Polaroid Photobooth for dogs and people. Dogs weren't really allowed at the event, so we just photographed humans. Which was equally as magical. I used the large format 4x5 Horseman field camera and, as always, was so in love with the incredible tonal range, crispness, and soft fall-off of each analog instant image. Can you tell how much I love my job?

Pancake helped me test my lights and camera the night before the big event. He loves to model, even though he pretends to hate it.
