I'm currently in New Orleans working on my New Orleans pet photography contacts, and developing my new fine art photography series on contemporary hunters and their gun dogs. Modern hunting photography lacks a level of intimacy and understanding that I feel needs to be remedied. There is a beauty, a mystery, an inspired connection to nature and animals that occurs in the field- one that takes a creative focus, slowness, and intention akin to that required of analog photography. For these reasons, I have become completely enmeshed in this new hunting photography series.
