I just arrived in my home town of Boston, ready for a long month of East Coast work. But before the madness begins (teaching 3 photography seminars, gallery visits, dog portrait clients, fancy collaborations, and more), I spent some time with family
Today we went to the Copley Square Famer’s Market- the Summer colors were beautiful. Unlike California, during the Summer things here are bright green, lush, and completely in bloom. We filled our bags with ripe peaches, yellow plum and heirloom tomatoes, fresh herbs, flowers for my sister, handmade mozzarella, and sausage from a local farm.
We chopped and cooked and pretty soon we had canned a cupboard’s worth of sweet peach jam and fresh yellow tomato sauce. Ok. I admit, I pretty much just watched. But I’m a good sampler and wow was everything bright and delicious.
