BUDDHABARK'S WONDERPARK//FINE ART DOG PHOTOGRAPHER JESSE FREIDIN
This weekend I was a featured guest at BuddhaBark's second amazing celebrity/canine event in Hollywood. It was sunny, it was full of amazing talented faces (and dogs), and I had so much fun talking to everyone about my work. People told me stories of their aging dogs, of their devotion to their animal companions, of their families and producers and famous friends who would "die to have photographs like these." I met dog lovers, cat lovers, horse lovers, and one woman with a few monkeys, an iguana, and a pack of seven dogs. Wow. The doggie fashion show and agility demonstrations were incredible, and it was an all-around wonderful event to be part of. Below are some fun shots (taken by my supertastic assistant, DC) of the weekend:
This woman works for Kirstie Ally (who has monkeys, iguanas, cats AND dogs!)
I love meeting other photographers. This guy and I talked shop about the beauty of film, his years as a professional photographer, shooting in old coal mines with transparency film, and, of course, his love for his canines.
Eric Roberts stopped by my booth to peruse my portfolio and be an all-around great guy.
The BuddhaBark runway was definitely the place to be seen.
