FAREWELL TO A FRIEND//BAY AREA'S BEST DOG PHOTOGRAPHER JESSE FREIDIN

Last week we lost a very special friend, Miss Lola Rose.

Though it's true that in my many years of working with dogs day in and day out I've met and lost so many animals, it will always hit me just as hard. This is part of life, and part of being a dog owner. Watching a companion pass on is never easy, no matter how prepared we may be. But it is an odd inevitable aspect of dog ownership.

Lola Rose was a special dog. I felt connected to her immediately, felt the joy and energy she gave to others, and was moved by the incredible bond she had with her human family. She was a stubborn dog, but a present dog. And I'm very sad to hear of her passing.

I feel grateful that I can give clients something that will commemorate the love they have for their companions forever, and know clients are grateful for that gift. To commemorate this amazing dog, here are a few of my favorite images from last year's session. Farewell Lola Rose. You will be missed.
